I am building a HOTAS for left handers out of CH FighterStick and Pro Throttle. I'm showing pictures of the progress. Check it out if interested:

What stick do you use Smidsy?

I'm lefty and have been using a righty stick for years
Never use the buttons at the base, and the throttle is in the center bottom of the stick so it is available, but have been thinking seriously about making the plunge into gettin a left handed setup, rudders and all..
So I am interested in this little project going on, my only concern would be if it broke later, what recourse for repairs and / or replacements?

Actually, CH would have no problem repairing one of these.  The only mod is the handle itself which is nothing for them to deal with.  They are fully aware of what I'm doing and have given me their support.  Of course this mod (like any other mod) voids the warranty but CH stuff never breaks anyway so the risk is moot.

The Saitek EVO converts to Lefty, they designed it that way. The buttons too.

I'm a lefty and use 2x Saitek Evo's, the right one is programed for throttle, flaps, some views, gear etc. Works a treat.

If you are a left hander, I'd appreciate your taking a little poll I put together.  You can find it here:

I'm  a lefty and fly with a full CH Products HOTAS.

Like guitars I've learned to adapt and play righthanded.

If a left handed flight stick came out now I dont think I'd even be able to use it.

On a side note , finally a Lefty friendly FPS gaming pad finally hit the market.... no more arrow keys and limited keys.

Lefty here

I've always used the stick in my right hand. Why not learn to use the stick the way it was designed?

I doubt that the rudder pedals are  still righties. I bet he's just got his socks on the wrong feet.

Looks great, Homeboy!

I wonder, could I trouble you for a picture of the buttons and/or board in the head of the joystick.  This is of interst to me because i'd like to rearrange the hat and button layout of my CH stick..
