Why not be able to run around on the ground like a grunt )other than what is done now with a downed pilot and a .45)?  Sappers could run into hangars with satchel charges, etc.  Snipers (could hide in trees and shoot pilots in the head while they are on the runway, etc..heheheh).

Could also have mortars, bazookas, etc.

You played WW2 Online too much? AH is a different game.

That's just your opinion...and we know what those are like.

I didnt write the code for this game, HT did, and lessee, it has tanks, and mobile anti-air, vehicles with supplies, troops, it has fleets that can shell ground targets, it has PT boats.....hmmm, appears to me HT made it a lot more than just a flight sim.

However, your opinions are noted and duley disposed of in the "furballers only" trash can....

Anyone else interested in more than just the flying part?

This would be cool.  Snipers.  They could hide and snipe troops running into map room from 1 mile away.:D

I say, no more than 1 mile.  I wish troops would fire at other troops if they ever got close to each other.  Enemy troops could follow your troops and kill them.  It's wishful thinking, but I believe many other things are of more importance.
Time's fun when you're having flies.

That is fact, agreed you or not.
WW2 Online is groung combat oriented game, AH is air combat oriented game. Air stuff in WW2 online are minor and primitive, like ground stuff in AH.

maybe nothin too complicated but.....put more town buildings, make the town bigger, make the buildings detailed so troops can run inside an hide an shoot each other, the same as the map room.

but mainly to make towns bigger, it will be harder to capture but it may also be more fun...

jus an opinion

Bazookas, no, snipers, no, satchel charges, no. NO NO NO, Too many people would be occupied playing Counter-Strike Aces High then trying to stay on the basis of the game.

There are troop simulators, such as call of duty 2, and there are flight simulators, such as Aces High. Yes, I know it has tanks, boats, guns, bombers, and fighters. But this is an online multiplayer community that expands and a game that updates to make changes. Ground troops would be the next step to naming this game "World Domination 1".

The towns are bigger from AH1 if I recall Bagrat, not that it matters any.

Just think of all the men on the field... running around with their puny little guns... and you have ROCKETS... theres an infantry man.. sitting around trying to shoot people, and here you come, he doesnt even see you... diveing down on him.. you open fire... BOOM you get to see little man flying in the air as a lifeless corpse he flames you for "Useing" a plane against him... and you respond... THEN COME JOIN US IN THE AIR!... thats all that the complaint against ground warfare is.. anyways, I bet people complained when GV's were put in... but now they are a fact of life... sometimes I don't feel like dyeing in the air, i'd rather have a nice Tank battle.... and still HELP (notice it's all about Helping the Air combat people)... by killing troops on the ground, or by blowing up specific places in my tank.... If your worried about troops killing you, with no defence, it's nothing less, than a vulcher sitting behind spawn points, shooting you as you try to take off......

You still don't want to get it, besides, your spelling it all wrong. I'm not complaining about the fact that someone on the ground will shoot at me. There's plenty of those dangers. I'm complaining about the fact that there wont be enough aerial battles for H2H anymore! Everyone will be too damn busy trying to play "Counter-Strike". Also, what kind of an impact would this have on the MA community, a lot of their fights would randomly "disappear".

ok I agree a lot of flights would disapear... but also thered be the new advantage... of being able to take over a city on the ground... instead of in the air... plus think of all the new people it would bring in.. proffit to HT... and even better than that... those who come for First Person Shooters... and learn wow, look at the airplanes... I wana learn how to fly one of those.... and those of us pilots who decide to play on the ground for a little bit, but when we're up against an army faceing us... we just in a plane, and bomb them to hell...

anyways it wouldnt be counter strike... thats a game where one side, fights another in one city or town, to stop them from planting a bomb, or not.... it would be more like Battle field 2, or War Rock... where, the objective is the city, captureing the flags, or city base... you still need 10 troops. so the city cant be captured by one person.... the buildings still need to be blown away... so the city couldnt be captured just by infantry... and, when Infantry are attacking a town, there can be a different warning, than just a flashing city, maybe an I above it..

yes, that might take away from youre Air Battles... but right now... I've ruined many an airfield, as a tank... are you mad at me, cause I'm not flying... it would be the same thing....

(of course after I've "porked" the field... I fly over in a bomber to take out the town, then come back in a troop carrier.)

Here we go again..the "furballers" vs everyone else .

You aren't going to lose your precious little H2H ego fights.  There's plenty to go around for everyone.

Variety is a good thing.  Besides, if all you want to do is furball, why don't all you guys get together in the DA or the TA and have at it.  Airfields close together, no one else to do something as silly as drop a bomb or anyhting like that.  Oh, and you won't have to fly for more than 30 seconds to find your fight (I know how tough it is to have to push a mouse button to move to another base, or to have to fly for *GASP* 2 or more minutes before seeing an enemy).  Oh, that's right, you don't get perkies in the DA or the TA do you?

Anyway, back to troops....add other ground based stuff as well.  Don't limit it to a few tanks and odd vehicles.  This game doesn't even compare to the others mentioned, it's far better.  If profit is truely what HT wants (as so many are guessing) then he'd be crazy not to go for the "full" sim game.  It would bring more players in, which means more profit, more fun, more choice.

What aces high needs is life.
yes we have trucks..
yes we have trains..
we have no transport ships to shoot.
we have no troops runing around on the ground like a battlefield.
we have no tank platoons to bomb without warning to stop a invasion.
we need mechanics inside these hangers, we need little jeeps buzzing around the airbase, delivering people & stuff.
we need sheep again runing thru the flight line.
we need life!
we need cow's on some of these farms..and what the heck about birds!?

Anyone find it strange aceshigh has NO birds? i mean..true they only fly so high..but just once i would like to see some type of bird..or wildlife.

Ww2 fighters has deer runing thru the forest you could fly down and shoot.

We more need A.I. craft. and animals for lifeness. :aok
