Why don't they post the AvA tour rankings on the front page like they do the MA? It might generate more interest in the AvA. I think the AvA is awesome but hard to find a fight sometimes due to numbers.

while you have a good point dog but it is right that it will bring in milk runners and the AvA has been getting alot of milk runners as of late. this is not what this arena is about its about the historical dog fighting that goes on. some have forgoten about that and maybe its time to remind them of it.

Salute fellas i have been sick for the last week 1/2 as soon as i am better i will be flying again the dam wife ack thinks i shouldnt be flying while i am sick.

I think it should be advertised on the front page.

the main attraction of the AvA for me is that most people in a fighter are there to fight, not garner a good score card.

I still don't understand players who play to up their score... I don't get it. For me, nothing beats a protracted 1v1, 2v2, or any equal fight...even if I lose.

Just knowing that the only reason you won/lost is because one pilot was more skilled...not because he was a better hoer, his LA7 pwned your non-LA7, etc. Course, that's why I come to the AvA...while we have our share of temporary dweebs...it's generally a gentleman's arena.

i take my last statement back cause i just checked the scores and it looks like we have an AvA staff member fighting for a high rank

I assume that you are refering to me in this statement.... most people in the arena who know me, know that I could give a ratsass about my score or rank.

Im ranked 99th and its only the 9th. By next week I plan on being in the top 50.

The larger issue with getting a bunch of milkrunners in the arena is the special arena settings. Unlike milkrunning in EW or MW, a "good" milkrunner in the AvA who resets the map porks it and ruins it for everyone else (until a staff member can be found to fix it).

So, while the goal of getting more people interested is laudable, the method would only serve to diminish the essence of the arena.
