Re-Arm Pads
« on: February 23, 2008, 06:09:08 PM »
How about a rearm pad which you could rechoose what your loadout would be.

It would be nice to have a plane (which you previously had drop-tanks for) land and rearm, but instead of drop tanks again, maybe  get rockets or bombs because lets say if you get intel there r gvs around

Just a thought

but of course it would have to be affected by the field supplies to, so if ords are down, you cannot Re-Arm with bombs/rockets, if fuel is porked, well sorry but no drop tanks! I mean yea its nice being able to Hot Pad and get bombs at a field where there are none but i mean come on, how unreal is that, you cannot take a plane off the ground from that field with ords if they are down, you damn well shouldnt be able to Get MORE bombs on your old plane if they are DOWN.

I like to hot-pad when the need arises like when I've got my trusty Lgay7 and the hangars are down or ENY is up but I do agree that it should reflect field resources.
This means no bombs if Ords are down, and only 25% fuel if fuel is porked. :t

i even think the way it is now should be changed...
i know ive re-armed an A20 when ords is down but that seems unrealistic to get bombs that are not there

Well if ord is disabled, no bombs or rockets, fuel, no drop tanks. simple as that.

Really? Thought it was No's :lol . I really don't have a good memory for anything past 1 week, and that was posted a couple months ago? Must have been something else I wished for. ;)

Take enough fuel to get home, or go home while you have fuel left. No Power-ups in the war, no need for them here.

So, no aircraft EVER landed, got more fuel, told his crew cheif that he wanted a droptank, or not to give him bombs, and took off again. This NEVER happened? Wow... shouting "Dot ee eff" and teleporting to a hangar must have gotten really tiring for them after a long 20 minute flight to germany...

Actually, if I make the rearm pad....it'd be nice if they put my aileron back on.

i.e. fix my damage.

(and clicking on a "load supplies" button to instantly repair a gv ain't gamey?)
