cntrl & drdeathx - Missions By
« on: April 27, 2008, 10:49:40 PM »
After going around for a time trying to take out everything red that got in the way - with limited success, I joined a couple of missions hosted by the above 2 gents over the last couple of days. I didn't say much and by my limited time over the target contributed even less to the task. That's not the point of this. Death and Cntrl ordered people around and took it very seriously. They were great. They both added a level of involvement and commitment by their actions that became a whole new level to the enjoyment of the game.
It is so very easy to throw a phrase like "armchair generals" at them, it's harder to get involved, suspend reality and appreciate them for their enthusiasm.
Their positive attitudes and thoughts over 2 missions negated all the 200 rubbish that comes up in a tour. The April subscription was deserved in 15 minutes.
That's it - had fun, wanted to share.

Or chastize him for his incessant use of caps in the never ending mission spam over country, he will pm/vox yah then too.

I mean really, he isnt a bad guy i dont think, but if he were to tone the spam down just a wee bit, i think more people would jump into his missions and he would prolly not get jumped on so much about it as he seems to now.

 Food for thought :)

He is a good stick to have around when your not killing him or doing something he doesnt agree with...

After that he can be a real pain in the ears.

<S> To Drdeathx. He gets into character and is motivated to win.  I have the same qualities, just I dont USE CAPS AS MUCH.  His missions are well run and a great place newbs to get their flight suits broken in.

I love to GV and do Jabo missions vs GVs, get used to it.  Being good at one helps in the other.

Character? He is an immature rude idiot. When someone kills him he takes to vox to personally abuse them. I'm suprised he hasn't been permasquelched or banned by htc. I wouldn't want to equate qualities with him if I were you.

I wonder if the OP is merely a shade doing some 'promo' work given films htc may have received lately related to this 'character', sure smells like it.
