When friendly fire doesn't end with self-death at the hands of the killshooter, and the offending pilot manages to land, he should be forced to fill out a stack of paperwork (via electronic forms that appear to be printed off an old typewriter).
I think this would add to realism... that and when said pilot finishes the paperwork, he'll have a real reason to grumble when he waddles into the virtual canteen to get some booze.
The virtual canteen is something else we should have.
