Aircraft Supplies
« on: December 27, 2008, 03:25:00 PM »
Why not?  Dare I ask that question....

Be able to drop ac sups for an aircraft with damage.  Think of that poor pilot who landed in the middle of nowhere due to a radiator, or perhaps an oil leak...... :uhoh

Will not resup ordnance or ammo.  Each supply can fix 1, maybe 2 problems with the aircraft.  Limited to such things as oil, engine, radiator, gear, gun, ailerons, rudders, elevators, flaps and such.  Missing half a right wing wouldn't be fixable.

Drops just like other supplies.

A silly wish........ Maybe not so much if you think about it.

Well, No nessicarily supplies but rearm pad in the middle of no where in case someone i low on fuel or ammo and needs to make it home or go back to the fight. I would be just a rearm pad there and whoever controled the zone base for the sector would be able to use it.

I think they should have a delay as well.

yes but one that is a bit shorter than GV's. I mean in tanks it was very difficult to take the engine out and put a new one or repair it and etc.

I wouldn't mind the diving to extinguish flames! Course, chances are, you're boned anyways... But still, diving and maybe saving the plane would be nice.

I kinda like this idea for the fact that I could setup a little mobile landing strip. I'd just fly a C47 to a nice flat area and vector squadies in to land. Then just repair/rearm them and leave.

Make it a 10 minute wait.  No, a 5 minute wait for repair.  New planes are free you know.

Yeah it should have a delay make it more realistic. Because the pilot would take awhile to fix an engine etc. Good Idea though LLogann.
