Incredible Wingmen - Salute Prayers and SixGun
« on: January 26, 2009, 02:04:48 PM »
This film was taken from last night. Four of us were patrolling a sector in P51s, and more came later. There two guys showed just about the MOST impressive winging i have eever seen in the MA. Despite only being two of them against larger numbers they ALWAYS had each other covered and fought so well that when i came to 6 on 2 near the end we all called out on squad vox and range to "let them go, they earned it".

The decision was agreed by everyone there, even the guys not in our squad.

Nice bat. I've had the pleasure of prayers covering me while winging and i must say prayers has to be the most skilled wingman pilot and good friend to have flying and covering your six. He is truly in a class of his own.

Just saw the video.  Thank you for posting it and for the really great fight! I was the one with the PW so every time you see me wings level i'm passed out hoping not to come to with a tail full of lead or the elusive land masses that pop up and grab you by the plane every now and then.  <S> to you guys! Kind of embarrsing getting let go but that shows great sportsmanship on you guys, don't lose that!

Trust me SIX....Your not the first we've "let go". Brother you and Prayerz earned that...I made the comment at the first of the film you guys weren't interested in fighting....boy was I wrong.

You guys earned that trip home....and don't be embarrassed at all. It was well fought...well flown...and great sportsmanship all all sides.

Again...Well done!!!
