I always thought this thread was a joke. As I'm from Mass, like the rest of us "east coasters" we think of Texas as WEST COAST. Why not just attend that CON? I guess that does not speak well for Mass. education system if they teach you Texas is west coast. After spending two years in Washington DC area while in the service I can tell you that most "east coasters" think we are still fighting Indians here on the west coast.

What about an east coast con in Dayton, OH? It is usually the third weekend in July. Check with Betty, SHawk and/or SheGotYa for better informed details. I went to the one they had this past July and it was a friggin blast.

Live in springfield. I actually used to volunteer at the Evergreen Aviation Museum. I was one of only a couple of under-18 volunteers working in the museum. Then I joined the military. Would be awesome to have a meetup there or tillamook.

looks like the dates this year will be around july 17 and 18. we will know more the closer we get to july. most likely we will start a thread about it around april or may with the dates and the plans for the dayton gathering events that will take place. keep an eye out on the BBS for it as skuzzy has been great about putting it as a sticky post for us to keep it at the top. http://www.daytonairshow.com/

I guess that does not speak well for Mass. education system if they teach you Texas is west coast. After spending two years in Washington DC area while in the service I can tell you that most "east coasters" think we are still fighting Indians here on the west coast. Not exagerated either. Had a friend come out from the east coast, and she was surprised we had cars. She was expecting wagons... Anywho, Salem guy, I'd be down for it.
