Heart Felt Thanks from the Family of Mike823A
« on: March 17, 2009, 09:12:51 AM »
The Chapman Family would like to thank all of the Aces High community for their support and kind words after the loss of my Dad, Mike823A.

The entries from Squad mates and the general community at large were very comforting to my mother and family at this sad time.

We need to especially thank Randy aka Cutter56 (I am pretty sure it's 56) and the Swamp Dragons for the moving video of the memorial flight and 21 tank salute. I can't watch it right now without tearing up.

Daddy was a career Air Force man and was laid to rest with Full Military Honors. From now on Taps will have a much more personal effect on me.

Thanks for the hours of enjoyment you provided both Dad and I over the last several years.

I am going to put the link to the funeral home guest book here. http://www.raderfh.com/_mgxroot/page_10780.php?task=Search&listing=Current
Most of the entries were from the on line community so in a few days I am going to have the guest book professionally printed bound and put the Swamp dragons logo on the cover then give it to Mom for a keepsake. If you have a moment and were an on line friend of Dad's please take a minute to sign the guest book before I have it printed.

God Bless
Curtis Chapman   aka moto61, moto1961, and now Dropflpz

Moto,

My heart went out and goes out to your family.  When I heard word, I was hoping that I was recalling your Dad's player ID incorrectly.  I enjoyed playing with your Dad very much!  He taught me about gv'ing.  He was much more patient than I.

God bless to your Mom, wife, daughter, Tater, and of course yourself.

Your Friend,

hap

My condolences go to the Chapman family.

Taps has always held a special meaning to me and my family, it's amazing how such songs impact you when the true meaning is felt.
