Thursday Night Mission 7-16-09
« on: July 13, 2009, 05:19:03 AM »
Since Jaegers Wendsday night challenge is taking up the normal slot of these missions this weeks will be held on Thursday at 8PM CST.

Because this is such short notice it will pretty much be a copy of the mission we ran almost exactly one month ago. Details as followed.

Allies A15:

B-17G - Please no higher then 25K

P-38J - Please no higher then 30K
P-38L         ''   - Just for you Dawger  ;)
P-47D-35    ''
P-47D-40    ''
P-51D        ''

Axis A7:

Bf109G-2  Please no higher then 30k
Bf109G-6        "
Bf109G-14      "  -  It says its enabled in the MOTD but its not at any of the bases I looked at.
Bf109K-4        "
Be110G-2       "
Fw190A-8      "
Fw190D-9      "
Ta152H-1      ''  - Please don't everyone take these. Keep them limited to a few.

As you already can see allies will take off from A15 and axis from A7. No airpawns will be used and once bombers level out they will reduce manifold to 'Normal Power' so they wont be flying around at 400mph. :)

As always I ask that Axis fighters do not pass the black line which is the vertical 9 line until bombers show up on radar or are visually spotted from behind it.

If I can get a CM to show up before the mission rolls and turn of 'DarBars' so that each side cant follow what the others are doing the whole mission that would be great.

Mission canceled since the setup is going to change Thursday morning. I'll try to have one for next Wendsday 7.22.09.

Krusty beat me to it....

Frankly I dont understand early models being disabled while the later models are in.

Case in point....this weeks setup.

51D
47D40
38J
38L

Dont know why we cant have 51B, 47D11, or 38G but thats for another thread. The same is true for the Axis rides....

Possibly because the earlier models would have been out of combat, replaced by the new models at the time the set up is for?

larry,
with all the people coming into the AVA on wednesday night, we can could scratch the challenge, and have your mission instead if you like. theres tons coming in anyway! let me know what you think, theres still time to change this if we want!

lets just call it a bait and switch
