Teams, we have until Tuesday, 5p.m. est., the night of our first race for season 17, to get our rosters in. The same rules for teams as season 16 are in effect. Here is where you can find the refresher on those.

Team Size: MAX 6
Scores that count towards team race points: Top 3 overall in each race
Points system: Winning team receives 25pts., 2nd. 24, 3rd. 23 etc., etc.

Teams may change their rosters at any time by notifying via the BBS. However, if have a team member leaves or you remove a member from your team, he/she may not return to your team or join another. That racer is now an independent for the remainder of that season. Teams may not merge 2 into 1.

You do not have to have 6 to be a team. You may field less than that, 6 is simply max roster size.

Remember, whether you are on a team or not, these rules have absolutely no bearing on individual performance, points, and standings. This is simply a separate facet inside the AHXARL. Being on a team is also not a requirement to participate in the races.

Let's have a great season 17!

 salute

I have enjoyed very much racing with the teams I have in the past with BMathis & SheGotYa respectfully. I have decided to go solo this next season and/or start up a new team. This team would be called  "Angry K9 Racing". Currently, I am the only one listed and would invite any seriously dedicated individuals who desire to "run with the dogs" to join.  salute

HB  your roster looks a little light,  thought you recruited some flunky to fill it out?

I thought the flunky in question told me to hold off on the announcement because he was going to have some fun with it. Advise.

Sorry B, not going to race until the current turmoil is settled and a more fair point system is instituted. I have spoken about the point system before to CM's and have been told that there is a formula already in place and that it probably won't change. My idea is pretty much right on, with how badbunny has it for the Busch League. ALL racers need to be rewarded for their finish. I.E. 1st = 20, 2nd = 19 and so on for each heat. This is the fairest way for all who finish. For those places not finished, no points awarded. For instance, 1st heat, two finishers and I get first. Under current scoring, I get 2 points. 2nd heat, 4 finishers, I get 3rd, 2 points again. 3rd heat, 12 finishers, i get 6th = 7 points. Total race points, 11. The winner of heat 3 gets 12 points and crashed 1 and 2, he beats me out as race winner with 12 points. Not fair. This whine is not exactly about me, it is about the point system that should be universal for each heat, race and for every racer. I believe that this new way of scoring would stop some of the arguments and actually create more compitition for the middle of the pack racers who show every week and finish most of their heats. If someone could go back and do some calculations, using this scoring method, they would see the difference. Some different racers would have won the overall race and the top ten would have been changed around a bit. It's not taking up for those that want to whine about not having the talent, failing to put the time, hard work, dedication, combined efforts to get out there and work for what you get. This is about it just plain being a fair point calculation system. Until the "Squeeker" turmoil and general whinefest has been resolved and a more fair point system is instituted, I will not participate at all. I'm not angry, upset or holding anything against anyone. I have had a great time flying with you and on SGY's teams. Thanks to you and some others, you have helped me in this community as well as with my overall performances in the Main Arenas. A big SALUTE to you and everyone. I hope to be back among all of my friends here sometime in the near future.
