If it's so simple, why haven't you coded it? Dude! You took a bomber above 36k? That's 3 beers and a potty break...

This skin has been accepted and therefore must be in the queue. I'll email HTC and see if they will swap it for one of my other D-25 skins in the next batch.

Greebo,
Please do not ask for any of your skins to be removed from the game. They are the highest-quality P-47 skins, and set a high standard for skinners to examine and emulate for weathering and scratching, etc, besides showing off AH2 in its best light in terms of aircraft detail.
I would suggest removing one of the 3 French skins from the current rotation...

Well I can't ask for someone else's skin to be removed. I'd also like to keep my RAF D-25 in, but maybe my 404th FG or 78th FG skin could make way for this one.

Understood, but I can ask. Your 78th D-25 is among the finest skins in the game, I think. And the 404th is a personal favorite eof mine. I'd hate to see either removed.

Moving that 78th skin out of the que would be personally demoralizing... I hold it up as one of the top 5 skins in the entire game.

HTC goes by the quality of the skin not who makes it anyway last I heard. In fact the whole selling point of allowing a lot of the bad skins in was the notion they would be replaced by better and better skins.
last time i looked every plane in game has 5 or less skins remotely worth using and about 10 others that are a complete waste of texture memory.
I think its more important to add good skins that players want to use regardless of who made them and a lot less important keeping bad skins in rotation often made by players who don't even play anymore.

Not positive about this, but I don't think more than a handful of skins have been rotated out to make room for a higher quality skin. I think the P-51D has quite a log jam of skins in the rotation queue, and many of them have got to be better than some of those in game.
I assume it's a hassle for HTC to rotate skins out and so they rarely do it, but that's unfortunate because this encourages skinners to rush projects to get them submitted, because the skin rotation queue simply doesn't seem to be moving.
Also, I've wondered whether the log files record the skin used, so that HTC can quantify a skin's popularity in game.

the whole discussion only came up because greebo is a nice guy and considerate of others. he would rather remove his own hard work and excellent skins than bump someone elses mediocre skin out of the lineup.
my outlook on it is different.
I want every sub par disgusting flourescent blob skin deleted and burned in effigy for wasting space on my hard drive and contaminating my widescreen monitor with neon filth. Being forced to turn off other plane skins on a top of the line gaming computer due to lag and stutters makes my hatred of said less than excellent skin submissions even more pronounced. That is my opinion.

Fair enough.^^^^^^ Are you getting back in to skinning? As I have not seen any new additions your work is always welcome & needed as we only have a few people who skin anyway.

HTC must constantly work to make AH a better game, so removing any of Greebo's skins makes no sense. Taking out any of his skins hurts the game and must not be done, IMO. Cit, what happened to the Air-a-cutie skin you did? Did it not get accepted for being too racy? I can't think of any other reason why it wouldn't be in game..
