If you check your advance grafics section and put a check on detailed water you will see there is water where the sand is hence the wake the ships are making,  try driving a tank out on what appears as ground and watch it die when you have all the grafics turned off like you have when you took the shots.

no, the boats drive right up on land, sometimes through ord/ fuel bunkers or barracks.

actually in mw the other night, i drove a panzer to the shore, to shoot at a cv that was stupidly close to the base.......look on the map, and according to the map, i was in the water.

Grizz the same thing happened to me the other day, the boat went thru the V base. And FTI all my setting are maxed out and all are selected. The USS Hazelwood steamed right thru the base and was eventually sunk. Funny thing is the boat sunk on land, no water near it.

all the snap shots show the boats going right next to the VHs so no i dont think its a matter of graphics
