Due to the Thanksgiving holiday on the 26th, we'll be doing the event on Saturday.  December will be on a Saturday as well since Christmas falls on a Friday.

More detail info on the November race will be announced shortly. salute

Nothing's better in this game than being in Lancasters at 22,000 ft and making a guy log from losing his 262 at 400m off your tail gun.

Our jeep races is a work in progress and sometimes they dont work, LOL. For those who do race with us we appreciate you time and patience.

One thing we are definatly waiting for is the terrain team to attach the bridges to the land instead of the swamp in the Ardens map for some hilarious driving. Mogules are a blast and the new version has lost some of these features.

AKKuya and myself use the same map while we are in the offline play and converse on the phone while we are doing our trial and error for the next race event.

Presently we have a very intresting base capture event planned for Nov 28. We have some more work yet as new thoughts keep popping up.

Our thanks to Tuk 51 for his input also.

For the jeep race this month, it will be on a Saturday night due to the Thanksgiving Holiday and at 10PM EST/ 9PM CST.

There will be two events.  First event is team relay races on the runway.  The second will be team relay airfield capture race.  Two teams, Alpha and Zulu, for both events.

The map being used is Ardennes.  Be sure to remove all radar, spawns and other clutter of the map due to being a densely clustered map.

First event will be both teams lining up in single file lines at the same end of the runway.  The first two racers will be at the starting point, the edge of the pavement that marks the runway from the taxi way, with ENGINES OFF.  At the GO COMMAND, they will start engines and race down the runway and do a 180 degree turn in the grassy area then race back to their respective teams.  When they had launched, the next racer in each team will have moved forward with ENGINES ON.  When the first racers drives through the second racer, then the secons racer speeds off and this continues until the whole team has completed one relay.  Finished racers will move off to the side of the end of the runway to prevent cluster.  Winner will be the first team to have all racers done first.  Due to quick racing style, this will best of 5 heats.

Second event will be each team launching from seperate airfields.  The two airfields will be on opposing countries.  The airfields are custom designed with no towns and the maproom in center of the airfield.  Airfield 160 is in 10,12 kp 6.  Airfield 163 is in 11,12 kp 4.  The airfields are identical and identical orientations.  Each players will launch out of the VH facing West.  The re-arm pads are in the SW and NE corners of the airfields.  There is a slight downhill slope from A163 towards A160.  There is a patch of trees inbetween the airfields.  It's a 3 1/2 minute trip one way between the airfields.

Each team will race at the same time in jeeps.  The field acks will be down.  The goal is to be the first team with the capture.  The capture amount will be determined by the CM's, players will be in the dark.  Once both teams have launched, the VH's will be closed.  Once racers reach opposing airfield's maproom and offload troops, then racers will have to return to home airfield's re-arm pad and get more troops for next run.

Teams can choose a designated member to launch a jeep with vehicle supplies in case of a team member loses control of a jeep and winds upside down.  Both troops and vehicle supplies can be re-armed on the pads.

This will be a non-combat race.  If time allows after winner from capture relay race, then another one can be done with live fire guns.

I'll be Team Captain for Zulu Team.  Zulu Team will launch from A160 facing away from A163 and have to initially climb the slight incline towards A163.  The Team Captain for Alpha Team is TBA pending confirmation of acceptance of position.  The Alpha team will launch from A163 facing towards A160 and have initially downhill run towards A163.

Players can post what Team they wish to be on.  However, one player might bet sent to the other team to make them even at time of race.

Sounds fun.  Reading the scenario for the relay races:
Sounds like the relay race will have a high probability of roll overs given the turn around and drive back loop (if I have understood you correctly).  Question:  Will there be supplies out at the turn around point?  I'm thinking if not the relay for that team ends as soon as one guys rolls it.
