I recently lost all my sounds to a reformat, and I would like to have them back. I dowloaded all the stickied packs as well as Sketchworks 2009 but none of them have the engine sounds I want. However, it looks like Fruda's site is missing his 109 sounds, so those might be what I'm looking for. Could anyone post a link for me please?

Sketworks 2009 is no longer. You should have downloaded Sketchworks 2010. That has the real 109 engine sounds from within the cockpit. Frudas I believe is from outside of the plane, but don't matter, it your preforance.

I haven't had 109 sounds on my site in a long time, since they weren't quite up to the standards of the current packs that are there.
That being said, the current packs that are up aren't exactly up to the standards of what I'll be releasing next... Whenever that is. I have the source material, but not the means to properly mix and rework the files. I can only do so much with a severely outdated laptop.
Though to answer your original question: the 109 sounds I had up a very long time ago were/are the real thing... As far as external sounds are concerned. I've recently gotten source files for internal sounds as well, and I still have the original external recordings in their untouched state. Needless to say, a complete reworking is necessary.

Thank's for the reply Fruda. I'm not really interested in the real 109 sounds, I just know that your old sounds were my favorites. The truth is I really don't like the 109 sounds in Sketchworks 2010 at all. While they may be accurate, they're not my cup of tea, and since I have the option to change out the real sounds for my cup of tea, I would like to do just that.

Pretty sure I have them, but they are on a computer that's not hooked up right now. Give me a couple days and I'll see what I can do.

Nothing against Frauda's sounds, but as an avide 109 pilot,I believe that TWINBOOM's set if very well put together and is a really nice add-on to the game. I do change the 37MM cannon from another a/c to be my 30mm tater gun sound. The only adjustment I would make other than that is to dial down the mg's sound and turn up the cannon sound.MG's drown out the tater gun. I give it a 10/10 though. Great work!!! Creton
