I have tried many times to land a 4 engine bomber on the cruiser, and I claim it impossible. Each time the stupid back 8" throws me off the ship.

I remember during one of the scenarios (Coral Sea 2004? Fire Over Malta? I think the latter) I laded on the back of a cruiser after we'd failed to defend the CV. Was really depressed about ditching.

I landed a P-51B on the carrier elevator steaming into a 30 mph wind.......

You can turn the wind up higher and actually fly inside the hanger....upside down.

Landing lanc on carrier is easy, taking off again, not very likely IMO.

Landed on the quarterdeck of the cv, with a squaddie above me on the flight deck - unfortunately, film viewer shows me off to the side, with the cv to my left.

Made me giggle lots as I was rearming with no wings left.....

Didn't the Blue Knights once post a pic of their whole SQUAD landed on a cruiser?
