Terrain Release: LostSoul

This is my latest terrain.  Originally built for an offline mission I'm working on, I thought I'd put it up for download for anyone interested to check out:

LostSoul Terrain

Place the .res, .fld & .pln files into your AHIITERR folder.











Note: When you load it offline, on your clipboard, select Options->Arena Setup->Environment->Arena Settings.
Change your ColorSky[Day] to black
Change your ColorFog[Day] to a deep red

This will produce the desired effect like the pictures above.  It's not necessary, but highly recommended, as the terrain loses its essence with a pretty blue sky.  Enjoy!

Real nice, Ranger.  Kinda makes want to cue the Lord of the Rings soundtrack.    Seriously though, looks cool.

Thanks Greebs.  It was a request by Tuk151.  I hope it lives up to his expectations.  I made him wait forever on it.   I have so much more I would love to add to it.  Who knows, maybe a "Director's Cut" sometime in the future.

A note I meant to put in the readme, but forgot in my hurry:  The skins included on the terrain are the default skins that I modified to look "helled out" to match the terrain theme.  Full skin credit still goes to the original skinner(s).  I did not modify the insignias or numbers, merely changed the colors up & aged some.  As stated, full skin credit still goes to the original artists.

It was mentioned in the Offline Mission forum that if/when we get H2H-type play back, this will be getting hosted by people, so I will be doing one update here in the new future, adding towns, flak towers, PT spawns & some other stuff.

Have you looked for the Rhine terrain? Unless it was taken down some time in the past few months, it should be hosted by HTC as a special event terrain.

Can I have those tiles. It kindda gets annoying with pretty grass and a sand ocean.
