WWII furball arena
« on: March 18, 2010, 03:25:44 PM »
Yup I'm asking.
WWII plane set with perk system. Set it up similar to the current WWI arena.  Perk system to keep the warp speed pickers under control.
No buffs... no GVs... no strat. Just carve out a section of a current map and give us furball dweebs a home.

The dueling arena doesn't fulfill the criteria. F3 is enabled... no change of terrain just flat water. We can not forget the perk queens who run rampant.

Toolsheders need not reply.

Agreed.

Add reduced gun lethality to that, and you could have a seriously fun and no nonsense arena.

Actually you could go a step farther. Disable all 4 engine bombers. Disable ord, so that light bombers could still fly. (A20, b25h, etc)

I think it would make a nice choice along with our current main.
If enough people flew there they might even be able to drop the main arena caps.

From what I've heard over the years I don't think it takes that much in the way of system resources to host an arena. So I see no reason this couldn't be done.

More choices = more bang for the buck = more happy AH customers.

I think it's a great idea, I know I would spend a lot more time in the DA without the free perk nubs
