This Tuesday June 1, 2010 the Dickweed Heavy Bomber Group will pay final tribute to VEGA the C. O. of the DHBG. Vega "Stephen Rullman" passed away last Monday May 24th in Reno Nevada. He died of a coronary aneurysm prior to a flight he was to make to California to pick up his Beechcraft Bonanza A33F. He was known by most everyone in Ace High and in his honor the DHBG will be flying a nation to nation memorial flight. The mission will take place Tuesday night in the Titanic Tuesday Arena at 10:00PM EST /7:00PM PST. The DHBG will take off, lock up and circle and do a missing man fly over at a Bishop Field. The runway will be flanked by Bishop fighters of "Rolling Thunder" and "The Devils Rejects" that normally escort the DHBG on Tuesdays. The Bombers will then fly on to a Bishop Field to be announced and any Bishop that wishes to join the group will meet the group in the air. We will then fly at low altitude ( approx 3,000 ft) to the closest Rook Field. We will not fly directly over it, because of the field ack, but fly close inviting all Rook pilots that would like to join the memorial flight to come up and fly with us. The flight will then proceed to the nearest Knight base and the same protocol will be followed. There will be NO shots fired by anyone in the memorial flight. If you chose not to fly with us please respect this brief time that the entire arena can pay respects to this C.O. that has flown online for 13 years as our Skipper and in Aces High since its inception. We look forward to seeing many friends on all sides as we give a final Salute to Vega. Hope to see you all this Tuesday.
