Suds:

Thanks for your offer of help. We appreciate the tools you labor to produce. You recently asked the community to provide offline missions that run correctly to completion in the Mission Editor but crash in the offline sim mode. That's the case with all versions of my "Hollandia" mission. The easiest version to work with is the simplest one, which I trimmed down for use with the old 2.12P4 version of Aces High II. That version has all of the audio banter removed, and the briefing is short-cut down to nothing.

Please take a look at it and let me know if I'm overlooking something, or if it helps you isolate the problems with the Mission Editor of which so many developers have complained. It did work very well with versions 2.12P4 and 2.13P1, with their associated Mission Editors. I've made absolutely NO changes to any of the mission source code. I was pleased to see that the current Mission Editor (V2199) can run it to completion without crashing. However, the current version of the flight sim (V2198) crashes when the first "Warp Segment" is hit.

Find the mission (and associated description with links to the required terrain) here:

From there, follow these prominent links:

Aces High -> Offline Missions -> The 1944 Hollandia Campaign over New Guinea

There are 3 versions of the mission on that page. I suggest (as stated above) that you use the 2nd of the 3, by clicking on the link entitled "Hollandia30Apr1944Trimmed09.m is" which contains the mission source code. Here's a direct link:

As explained in the text of the mission page, you will also need my "New Guinea" terrain. Here's a direct link:

Thanks for your attention.
