AH2 needs a Rewarding system

Gents,

i wish we would have a rewarding system, Ranks and Medals, given for different things,

could be something like ranks for killpoints combined with some level based things like a minimum of scores you have to bring
it would be nice to seperate ranks into fighter bomber attack and vehicle ranks
And medals could be given for overall ranking, and some scoring level you have to pass. There are a thousand parts to play, it would be great fun and a very attactive addition too

any suggestions?

ok idea...but that would mean a certain member of a certain squad with two certain numbers that's nickname involves a certain animal can't be number one anymore :cry ohh...and don't forget grizz and his hairy friends :D

a medal is a reward!

but we don't have something like that, why?

why not put up a personal squad reward system? when i flew with the short lived JG-5 Eismeer we had set up a medal system along with the usual ranking

I think this is part of what CT was trying to accomplish.
Let the character advance or fail depending on what he did and how well he did it.
Over time that would have let people who are very good advance to be Generals with a chest full of medals.
Or if you didn't follow orders, shot your own people you could get busted back to private.
However that project is shelved for the foreseeable future. Which is why we don't have something like that.

That actually not a bad idea, for say the top 300 in each category?  EX: i will use fighters for example, the fighter pilot that is ranked 300 will say get 1 perk point, while the number 1 fighter pilot gets 300 perk points. And so on for each category. What would you all say?

No. There are a lot of good sticks that don't play for score.

As for the idea, I'm gonna have to say -1 for the same reasons stated in the previous thread along these lines.  Added to those I'll say armchair generals are bad enough as is in here.  I can't imagine what it would look like if they had a fake little Oakley next to their name.
