I wish longer warning for terrain change.

After a side wins the war, you get a message that the terrain will change in 4 minutes.

This makes it impossible for anybody flying a realistic mission profile deep into enemy territory to actually land even if he dives for his nearest base or cv.

How long would you like?
What about all the other people in the arena who aren't 90 minutes away from landing?
Do they all get grounded while you return to land, and then you all get to leave the arena?
If they get to leave, will they have to wait the 90 minutes for you to land before the arena changes and they finally get to play again?
What suggestion do you have to make it fair for everyone?

If you wait until the arena shuts down that sorti will not count.

BTW I see this thread is the the wishlist forum, what exactly are you wishing for?

You get 5 min of warning. Then after arenas lock you get another 10-15 min to land

Not after the war is won.

But you can predict that at least half hour out.

That's true, maybe give people 10min frame, but since if you are still up the sortie isn't counted...

Would it be possible for HTC to lock the arena, permanently ground anyone not in the air, make the existing arena a seperate one, then create a new Orange/Blue with the old arena still up so that anyone not already grounded will have as much time as they need?
Landing is overrated.

Than people who are already airborne will be able to take down towns (for score & perks) without any resistance, than re-arm and do it again, and again.

I already thought about re-arming. What if as soon as you hit the ground at all, you tower?

You will still be able to stay airborne for as long as you want. So you look at the map, realize that the war will be won soon, take a B-29 with 100% fuel, take off, wait until everyone lands and go bombing undefended towns, then get the #1 bomber rank.

Obviously there are going to be people in fighters going for the buffs, 100% fuel and tanks and everything. Hell, add puffy to the towns when the lock occurs if it is that big of a deal.

Will people game the game? Yeah, sure. Is that any different than what they do now?

Your trying to find a solution to a problem that does not exist, what's wrong with our current system?
