Batten down the hatches
« on: May 24, 2011, 10:15:16 AM »
Looks like North Texas and other areas are gonna get hit again later this afternoon.

Am taking my 12 soon to be 13 year old daughter before long to practice a little with her .243 rifle. Hope we can get back before it hits. We are doing an impala hunt during a South Africa trip in a couple of weeks.

If I hear a 243 going off I will hit the ground!....  Hope the hunt goes well
The only HO I have every attempted was with a French potato named Miss Francine.  Otherwise I stay away from the HO it makes me very nervous having 20 and 30mm shells whipping by my canopy.

Look at it like this Dragon.  Some people check the BBS more than the news. :devil  It strikes me as a good thing that some here have enough concern to give a fair heads up on nasty weather heading this way.

She shot 25 rounds...lots of good grouping. Now another session with shooting sticks before we go and she will be ready.

Luckily most of the bad stuff missed us where we live. Just some wind, rain, and a bit of small hail.
