Even in Eastern MA we were getting hit hard with the storm. i personally saw a funnel cloud over Medfield/Norfolk area and what seemed to be another later near Milford. We're lucky they didn't form fully...

<S> and prayers to those in the Western part <S>

Was a crazy night, the light show in the sky was awesome. Around 930 pm we got (Whitman) hit by a big cell, the whole sky was on fire. Im on the 5th floor of our condo we could see it roll in from miles away. Mother Nature had her "A" Game on last night.

The lights dimmed frequently in my house, and kid in my town almost got his computer fried when the power surged.

Many of the Towns west of where I was were hit much worse.  It seems Brimfield and Monson got really hammered as did the Town of Southbridge, east of Sturbridge.  With a state of emergency, I was called in for a 16 hour shift.  Made for a long day (which was supposed to be my day off.)

In this shot, you can see the path the tornado took over the hill from Brimfield, across I-84, and into Sturbridge.

This is from Main Street.  Showing the trees completely limbed and topped by the storm.

About a 1/4 mile of poles were snapped on this one part of Route 15 that runs parallel to I-84.

There were no injuries reported in Sturbridge and State Aid came pouring in to all the Towns affected.  With only 4 reported deaths out the the 19 Towns hit, Massachusetts was very lucky.
I have fought a good fight,
I have finished my course,
I have kept the faith.
