Farewell & Thank You
« on: July 21, 2011, 05:09:35 PM »
The following I wrote on our bomb group's forum:

I have terminated my AH subscription. I simply do not have the time, and finances continue to be very tight despite working a full time job with occasional overtime. I have also been concentrating on my music endeavor as well as looking after the family.

So, I will say it is up to you, the 91st crew, to decide what you want to do with this outfit.

It's been fun creating & participating in a group that loves different aspects of the game, and it's great to know people that have a genuine interest in the living history represented in AH.

So, keep having fun. For now, I do not foresee a return to the game. Everything is too expensive, and other priorities have been brought to the forefront.
I will keep in touch on occasion through the forums & as always on Facebook.

To the rest of the AH outfit: Thanks for making it a fun place to play. Thanks for helping me make bomb missions in B17's still a cool thing to do.
I wish I could come back, but with no time and extremely slim money, the possibility is very remote.

Fair skies & give 'em Hell. :aok

:salute egg, i will never forget the times I had with you guys flying bombers at 25k. It was never boring.

I wish you the best of luck, and a hasty return. Because you can take the pilot from ah, but you can't take ah from the pilot :)

Thunder, you and your crew gave me some of the best times in this game............Saturday night escort duty with my former squadies (82nd FG) Watching the formations of 17s from horizon to horizon formed up perfectly....... Good Times!!!!! This is truly the end of an era in this game

Best of luck with everything you do......Health and happiness to you and your family sir.

:salute Thunder. You're a bad enemy to your enemies, and a good friend to your friends. I hope to see you make a return one day.
