bomb on the tower at port

I was defending a port a couple of days ago and someone bombed the tower. When I was trying to get in a maned gun I couldn't see what guns wee available and jump in them because the view of the available guns was obstructed by the huge bomb Crater image that was blocking the view of available guns   Is there a fix to this problem while I'm in the tower?

That's always happened at all fields but I thought it was the Hanger (where you choose guns, planes, etc) not Tower.

  In retrospect, does it happen at all fields? If so then this could be a "gaming the game" type glitch that can be exploited to basically shut down a field.  Ooooops, have I said too much?

Psh, I don't know what the hell you guys are talking about, but I just like flying a big 'ol set of 17s at about 100k off of the ground, and blowing up the individual gun emplacements, and vulching anyone who tried to up and kill me.

(actually most lousy bombers already hit the hell out of the indestructible anyway -- on a typical buff mission it recieves more ordinance than any other target on a base

i.e. go to another field with the same layout that hasn't been bombed, select the gun you want, jump back to the field with the crater blocking your view and "fly".

My fav was getting in the tower to look at a base that was being overrun with GV's...some wise bellybutton had shot smoke grenades all over the tower area and I couldnt see any of the enemy GV's to call them out to our guys...pretty damn smart

You can still get into guns... it's just difficult to see which one you're getting into.  If they're all destroyed (like is usually the case with a base take...) then being able to see they're blown up isn't going to help you much anways.
