aircraft that land on
« on: January 17, 2012, 01:45:15 PM »
ok ive done the search at the top and as far as i can see there has only been 1 post regarding aircraft landing on water the f7f tigercat meets all expectations it iwas a ground attack aircraft with 4 30 mm cannon mounted in its nose , this would be a fantastic platform to attack vh bases and ports on coast land outside dar and watch out !! when they take off because it could destroy 2 vhs with 2 passes if you got the fractions correct also the high altitude brigade could not spot you as you will be on the sea . :airplane:

Wow.  The F7F was an interceptor and was armed with 20mm cannon.

And it certainly didn't land on water.

David.....i'm going to try and help you out with some advice as it pertains to posting wishes.  First, IMO the main reason why you are catching so much flak on here is twofold.  First your posts have the appearance of just being hastily thrown together without much thought.  Many of your wishes already have multiple threads on the same idea.  That is not to say you cannot post, but my feeling is that is warranted if you give a fresh take or information that has not been previously stated.  Second, and this is a big one, invest the time to research credible sources and then cross reference those sources before posting your idea.(example...this wish topic).  This is intended to help you in research and posting of your ideas.  :salute
