The dive bombing targets are smaller than a hanger but larger than a GV, i.e. a happy medium.  Takes about 30 seconds from the air spawn to be diving on the range.  Drop, end flight, and be back over the range in a fresh plane in 30 seconds.

On the tank range, there are fuel trucks scattered about.  They explode, burn & smoke nicely.  Gives the range a nice chaotic effect. :devil

yeah i noticed that in the divebombing range, the targets are fuel tanks. hit them and i get the message "fuel tanks destroyed"

Correctomundo!  I wanted to use something that would burn when destroyed.  I just slapped a big target texture on top of it. :aok

***Attention players, Important Update!***

I have a new version of the terrain I want you to download & use, replacing the first version:

New features:
-A better looking clipboard map

-The correct "look" via the custom textures.  When bump mapping terrains came out a couple updates ago, it started placing a bumpy texture overlay on all the terrain textures.
 If using custom textures, the bump mapping hides the details of the texture.  Skuzzy showed me today how to override it so that the textures now look as they are supposed to.
 

Simply download & unzip, then place the bombrang.res & bombrang.dod files into your AH2->AHIITERR folder.  Overwrite the previous version if you have it. 
This is the version I want everybody to have, because it now looks the way it was meant to.  Enjoy! :salute

As you can see, when Bump Map Terrain is turned on, the details in the custom texture(s) is/are lost.

 Due to the way HTC coded the tank objects, you can get explosive hits with tanks' AP rounds, but only HE rounds will make the tanks disappear.

I d/l it and all I can say is ------- wholly chit---- I got a uple of screenues at home on my computer so as soon as I can I will post them-.  I took out the V1 rockets with a stuka in 1 swipe... too bad the auto ack got me too.
