Surfinn Duels
« on: October 15, 2013, 07:58:33 PM »
Not Safe for Work.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNPCem5BItE

I had to dig into my Rejected Film Collection to dispel the myth I cheated Surfinn in these duels, so please excuse the candid commentary..
Due to the nature of Surfinn, rather than chop and edit the film I have decided to keep everything in it's raw form, even if at points I come across as an ass.

The accusations; that I was exceeding the alt cap by 1000ft+ out of shot and diving prior to the merge altitude, use of F3 mode, and having a 109 capable of turning like an A6M.

At 25mins, Surfinn breaks the altitude agreement and my voice, still losing the fight.

He doesn't display any skill in the MA and you seriously expect him to show any in the DA?

Very nice flying in that E model. I like the 109s but I can't fly like you that was excellent.  :aok

Why'd you guys have to bring me up? I suck!  :lol

Great flying by both you guys. I don't think surfinn has fought many Emils before and doesn't know that it can even turn fight with zekes. It probably won't go vertical with a zeke but it can certainly give zekes trouble in a turn fight, so an FM2 is no problem.

I know the issue with Dolby and Surfinn, but I have no idea why you made your statement.  Why the slight toward Surfinn?

An emil is a great match-up for the dweeby FM2.

I told surfinn, in order to beat other people in certain planes he has to get out of the FM2 for once. He has the potential to be a great stick, but limits himself to two planes. . .FM2 and P47. He just recently started in the P47 and I have great expectations as he is flying with a really good group of pilots.

Surfinn, drop the FM2 for a few tours and I guarantee you will begin winning KOTH and 1 v 1's a lot more than you are now.

Knowing other planes weaknesses and strengths help a lot in a fight, but when you exploit them properly you are almost unstoppable.

Something Dolby seems to have a decent grasp on.

Great Fights Dolby

Don't listen to me though, I suck.  :(

Dolby, I am impressed with your E management. Many people often blow all their in in the first two merges to try to get lead. You showed great patience and excellent flying. I did not know the Emil was so nimble.  :airplane: :salute

I didn't think making Surfinn realise I wasn't breaking alt cap needed to go beyond a few days.
