Here's an Interesting Read for You

Today on an ET37 mission we were going to 160 and 152. I was to hit town with ET and Tomcat.

Things went sour when fighters showed up. One of them being a 262, which I tore his wing off with some help. First *confirmed* 262 kill!  :x

Well, more showed up. The horde, the main defensive force left behind by those going to 152, we had to deal with some of it. 5+ fighters buzzing behind me. One second I was at full health with 3 bombers, two dead jugs later I'm with one B-17G, with no ailerons, no flaps, and no elevators. All I had to work with was my throttle and rudder.

I was able to evade the other enemy fighters. I then tried to fly home with all those missing control surfaces.



After one exhausting flight I was able to put her down safely and land some 5000 damage and 4 confirmed victories. What a mission.

Once i a blue moon i'll have a mission where i'll actually live long enough to deal with flight damage. Most of the time its instant fire, lost wing, or tower followed by 10 seconds of bullet impacts blowing my ears out.
