A long time ago in a land far, far away, November of 1996 in Air Warrior, two guys started The *Specialists* squad. Those two guys were Darks and TC3 and over time guys joined and left but most Tuesday nights at 9 pm you can find us flying with each other and having fun. We had small plaques made to commerate our 10Th anniversary and as our 20Th Birthday closed in a small group wanted to do a little more than a plaque and the idea of a reunion was put forth. Of course never meeting as a group made a reunion sort of silly but a 'Convention' would fit the bill. November is sort of chilly so July 2016 was thrown against the wall and stuck as a day most of us who wanted to could attend a Convention near our nations capital and see some sights. Joker put something together involving plaques, t-shirts, guided tour of the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, a visit to the NASM at the National Mall and it turned out to be one amazing weekend for the squad.

Tough to decide who gets the most votes for *Specialist* of the Year but I think it's narrowed down to Darks or Joker, and I think mine goes to Joker as I know what he went through setting this up for us all.
