Its Good to be a Rook

Last night, (Thursday May 23rd)   really made me proud of my countrymen.

At 5pm central time, I poked my nose into the MA and saw Bishops with 127 pilot and Rooks with 53.   The Bishops were making head way in deep into Rook Soil.  

By 7pm I returned to See the Rooks down to 7 fields and the Bishops still on Top numbers wise.

At 7:30 central, The RJO Kicked in.    Target:  Bishops since they had greater numbers and a large feild advantage.  

By 10pm The Rooks had a number advantage and Owned the entire north half of the Baltic.  31 fields total.  Bishops were down to a handful of feilds.   Not bad for 2.5 hrs of work.

The Knights traded a few feild back and forth with the Rooks on the southern flanks, But we kept a strong push on the Bishops.

The Extreme efficentcy and fighting spirt of my Rook Countrymen leaves me somewhat in awe.   When Called to Fight, They Fight and Fight Hard.  I am damb proud to be a Rook.

Love the Rooks too but I feel that I should mention there was a strat buff mission that levelled four fields and helped with a fifth I believe (this was just before RJO but just as Rooks numbers were rising) and those fields were captured almost in order the buffs hit them.

My point is that RJO is great (and I'm still trying to learn the ropes of it) but credit where credit is due; seems that after those fields and one or two others we kind of stalemated.

RJO makes every dedicated rook player log on. This results in a number advantage. Nothing to be proud of, bish have numbers almost every day ;)

RJO = Rookland Joint Operations, a group of about 25 or so Rook Squads that get together every few weeks to run a coordinated operation in the Main Arena.  The leadership of these Ops is rotated from Squad to Squad, and usually a couple hundred Rooks participate.
