We now have a list of offline missions on the wiki:

So far it's a single list, with basic info like map, planes, creator, download link. A few missions have their own page where there's more background or installation info.
Mission builders: feel free to update details on the list as needed, or add new missions. If you're not confident using the wiki, just post here in the forum as usual and sling me a message.

Thanks, and the wiki is now updated. However, I am now getting a page requiring login to eSnips - I don't see a way to download the file unless I register. Time to look at a different file hosting service?

Several of these missions are not available as the link is not working.. Anyone know if they are hosted anywhere else?

Downloaded the bob04 terrain and the JG vs B17 mission.
Incredible! Nice practice either flying the B17 or the 190s! I had no idea AH was capable of such awesome training tools. Always wanted to fly into a stream of bombers but staying alive is a whole other matter! Collisions!!
Gonna have to up my RAM to play online, everything fine until getting close with guns ablaze. <S>

Guys,
Does anyone know how to get a copy of the Practice Mission USA vs Japan by Stixx.
I have tried to download the file: usavsjapan.mis from the AHWiki list but it won't work, Only text of mission displayed.
If you have a copy of the file usavsjapan.mis would you please Email it to me at Roche22@Charter.net.

If I try to open link in new tab, I get login, but just clicking for d/l doesn't open window and brings up d/l box.

Need a little help with offline mission loads...
I keep getting a page that say broken link on Esnips when I click on the icon to download map or mission. The mission editor loaded ok...

Which missions? If they are any of mine, I took them down until they are updated to the new terrain/ME versions. Most working missions will be found on the first page of this forum, as we've pretty much had to start over because of all the updating.

Here's a offline mission I made to share with the community. The zip file includes the correct Tunisia map as some who have downloaded the mission using it with a different Tunisia were experiencing problems. Let me know how well you all like it. Thanks.

It may be a good idea to have HTC look to host some of these missions on a friendly server to download. Mediafire is a known hotspot for spam and viruses and esnip only works if you install their downloader.

Yes, it's possible. However, it's complex. There are a lot of issues to contend with. Unless the original mission is very, very simple, you'll need to do more than just edit and save it. For example, old missions were driven by old versions of Aces High that used slightly different airfield arrangements, so when new versions try to use an old mission, the aircraft may bump into buildings and damage themselves trying to find the runway, and the timing of takeoffs can vary by 1 or 2 minutes compared to the original mission. This, in turn, causes combat encounters to happen at different times and different locations. Often, encounters just "miss" one another, so that the bot planes don't actually engage, but just fly on past. Fixing all of this requires a lot of "tweaking" on any sophisticated mission. Thanks bbosen! That's actually true... i tryed it and all of those planes crashed into a building or tey selfdestructed theriselves...
I will read all those instructions, wonder how id be if i edit the old missions and then post it on a site or something would be cool...
