A Piece Of History
« on: June 15, 2001, 11:09:00 PM »
The link below will take to to a website I am designing for a gentleman in my neighborhood.

He served in WWII in the 8th AF, 44th BG, 67th Squadron in B-24's.  Shot down 3 times and spent 3 months eluding the Germans to return to England.

These are his memoirs and as he gives me more they will be added to this site along with pictures that will be scanned and added.

Graphics are mine but ALL the text comes from him.

Lest we forget the sacrifices these brave men and women made for our freedom.

And a mighty big sarcastic <Salute> to the crew of the "Lazy Susan"!

Actually, Spitboy there wasn't a B17 at all.

I think that was the problem...

Well, Spitboy remembered a bit and TK hinted   :)

 The tip of the iceburg:

KenJr concocted a similar type of web page and story, full of photos and <cough> facts, about he and his dad a few years ago. This web site comprised an imaginary service record and out right bullsh&t about owning a B17 called,  "The Lazy Susan."  Yeah, doctored pics and all. I guess one would think that if that was all there was to it that this would be delusional but innocent enough. Wel, if that was as far as the lies and deceptions went from KenJr.

 Shall I go on KenJR?

BTW, do you still sell computers??

Ya gotta admit, he's perfect for Hollywood.

This one doesn't look all that enticing. Guess we've grown to expect more from our deceptors?
