The friendly GVs kept killing my targets right as I would swoop in, so I settled for killing the storch that was marking them

"Then out spake brave Horatius, the Captain of the gate:
To every man upon this earth, death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds.
For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."

I've been absent for a very long time! Almost 12 months by my best guess..... so I feel like I should contribute some good screenies!

Got lucky (for a change) in a 262!

I got the approach angle right enough to hit the two drones on the first pass with the same volley:

Flamed one, blew the other one up:

And got home safe!

^ That wasn't the whole sortie, just a few snaps.

And a few more while I'm at it.

I'll post a few more of the other two other 24s going down soon.

pffft no :lol

I was RTB with that damage. I was just trying to cause damage as I passed by so they would be easier for my squadie to down. I was able to rake the lead 17's left wing from root to tip and put a few hits on his left side drone's right horrizontal stab.  I was more interested in RTB than attacking but these bombers only required a few small control movements to set up the pass in the picture so I figured why not.

So I chased some  ki-67's for 5 sectors landed  and found them again  I was not happy about having to chase them so far.
