I bombed Hotrod during FSO once, when we were in B-29's.  But it was his fault as he was under me. :noid

Tried out the TU-2 my first time today. P51 took one of my drones, but ate all my rear gun ammo.  152 came on down to join the party and took the other, but I got my revenge soon after!  :devil

Also, how do you guys get your screenshots like that?

Before entering the film viewer, turn up all the graphics that you want. Make sure the you go video settings and change your screen size, anti aliasing and turn the field of view down to 45.

Last time I heard lines like that was in a bar in Mos Eisely.  :D

Definitely turn up all those things you can't or don't use online (make sure to reset your settings when you log back in).  This lets you play the game on minimal graphics settings, yet allows the best screenshot quality possible.

What does changing your screen size and setting a 45 degree field of view do?

What does changing your screen size and setting a 45 degree field of view do?

I usually run the game at 1280x800 which is really low, I just turn the resolution up so that I can get a shot that is nice and sharp. The 45* FOV keeps the wings from looking like they are 5 miles wide while the fuselage is only 3 inches long. It helps keep the proportions of the aircraft the same at all angles. When the FOV is turned up, the sides of the screen get stretched out more to allow you to have a better view of what's left and right.

That second one is really cool.  :aok

More gigantic pics.  Ctrl and - keys as needed, will shrink the images for those of you with little monitors.  Ctrl and + keys will increase the size.

The bomb in the last shot actually hit me but I wasn't damaged.  Last month, I was hit by an unseen bomb from a B-29 and lost a wing.  I guess you only get collision damage from enemy planes seen on your end but bullets and bombs on the enemy's end.  He was already dead at this point, so maybe that had something to do with it.

How knights have fun:

Step one, take flying lawnmowers.

Step two, find a spit 16.

Step three, follow spit 16.

Step four, try to ram the spit 16 out of the air.
