as for the email... I am showing it "hidden" for Skuzzy, Hub, JanneK, republic, but others are showing. I went in and did choose "hide" for my account too.

You're not seeing any of the contact garbage for me now? I can send myself ICQ, IM, email, PMs... maybe it just shows the user all of the stuff they would never need, while hiding it from the other users. Platinum Member  My arse. |

Yup, no private forums allow starting new threads or replying  First impression of the new appearance is lots of little useless and confusing items, auto scrolling texts, flashing, etc. Everything one wants to divert people's attention away from THE ACTUAL TEXT ... and let's add those ugly smiles above to the same whine. |

I was trying to use the search but cant just search for posts for a user it says Did you forget to put something to search for? No I didnt forget because I only want to search for posts made by a specific person, is this not possible any more?

Apparently when a user selects the hide options, it shows them to the user only, but no one else.
