Really cool   I love seeing old warbirds get a new lease on life.  It always amazes me that so many were built in that era and so few survive today.  I always say that if I ever were to win the lottery, my first "splurge" would be to restore and old bird.

My great-uncle earned the Victoria Cross flying the Mk.IV in 1941. His name was Sir Hughie Edwards.

I ran across this the other day and just thought of it when you mentioned that name.



Blenheim Mk. IV V6028 flown by W/Cdr 'Hughie' Edwards of No. 105 Sqn RAF. Edwards was awarded the Victoria Cross for a 4 July 1941 raid on Bremen. Finished in the standard RAF colours of dark earth/dark green over sky.
