Editor won't run on new computer

I purchased a new computer with 1920 x 1080 resolution. I had read you need all the resolution you can get when running the Mission Editor, so I was kind of excited to see what would happen.  I downloaded the editor to make sure I had the latest version.  Well, what happened is the program won't run.
Is this because I am running Windows 7 now?

Happens with every game update.  A new M.E. version will be out soon.

Will HTC announce when a new editor is ready or should I just keep downloading until it works?

they will announce a new mission editor, so save the memory space on your computer.

I sure hope they get it fixed fairly soon...

The ME is a valuable tool for map makers as it provides the only known method to create a blank map of a terrain...

yeah i will start making offmissions again, i lost all the files i had on the other pc but now i dunno ill do other missions, have some few ideas, just have to wait for this thing... it takes forever!
