Screen freezes up....
« on: December 22, 2009, 12:26:11 PM »
after the recent upgrade my screen will freeze up and any audio is stuck in a feed back loop and replays a 1 second blip repeatedly. When it recovers I sometimes am diving to the ground, or already hit.

Sounds very much like a resource issue.  A DXDIAG output would go a long way in sorting this out.

click start, then run and type in dxdiag and hit ok. After it loads the new window click the button on the bottom that says save info. Save it to your desktop and open it with notepad. Cut and paste the first third of the report here. It will look like this......
