USB 3.0

Wondering if anybody see's and advantage with this new version of USB in regards to Joysticks.Pedals, Throttles EtC

In the process of specing out a new computer and have seen a lot of MOBO's with it .

Just wanted to throw this out there .

The amount of information coming from a joystick isn't at all high, I don't think you'll see a difference joystick wise. It *might* help those that are having power issues, but it is questionable.

I think USB 3 will be enjoyed mostly for data back ups and components that favor a bigger pipe, like digital cameras and MP3 players.

Any joystick, pedal etc. function fine with USB 1.0 and less, they do not require vast amounts of data to be transmitted unless you're a serious stick stirrer  :neener:
