Plenty of time to get a feel for AH....And not just the planes...Have you tried the GV`s?...Just what are the hardest adjustments that you have come across?...And just how well are you doing as opposed to FA?.....Any of you former "fighter jock" (I`m the deadlist stick in the sky!) types, now find yourself being blown out of the sky with aggravating regularity?.....Come on, fuzz up....One thing I`ve noticed, at least to me, is that the blackouts/redouts are more "sensitive"...I`m not really pulling more G`s than I did in FA...

only person I've recognised / seen holding their own was Nish in the DA.
Maybe it is just me getting on different hours. I've tried to get Admiral and Spotlight in here but haven't heard anything from either.
Hopefully BANZAI, ARS, Elite /USMC can drag a few more over with them. I for one hope they at least get enough to start competing in the squadron events because I know it was a great way for the community to stay strong by competing with one another regularly.

I have seen a few of them around. Shot down a few as well. They seem to be catching on fast.

I`ve only been to DA once and did fine...Perhaps I should send more time in there

I would think many of the FA folks would be doing one-on-one or two-on-two duels in the "Dueling Arena". Gives you a chance to get used to the game while flying against people you already know. Just a thought.

Most of us are still trying to squeeze every last drop out of FA that we can, while we still can. Personally, I find myself venturing over to AH only when I run out of targets in FA (it's happening more and more these days).
Speaking for USMC/Elite, you'll see a lot more of us after August 1st.

I'm enjoying the GV portion of the game, and have flown a few times. I haven't got the hang completely of the physics so I know what I want to do but getting the plane to do it is tough.
I've shot down a few people and even jumped some guy who was in a ME-262, although my lack of understanding regarding the bullet drop probably allowed him to escape relatively unscathed. I do enjoy the ability to join bomber missions, and had quite the time manning the guns on a Lancaster for a few runs.

Welcome to Aces High, keep on clubbing the baby seals and checking your six for the flying walruses. Bubbles, some planes are tricky to master and not all are like the others. There's a lot of factors to take into account when deciding what maneuver you have available to you at a moment and then in following through with it. Acceleration, climb rate, turn radius, turn stamina (ability to maintain a constant tight turn), torque, plane weight, fuel weight, fuel/weight distribution (some planes like turning with certain tanks full similar to how you like waking up with a hangover), E-state, etc. IE: Take a La-7 up with 25-50% fuel, go twittle around with it, then try one with 75-100% fuel. You'll notice the obvious difference. La-7 is also a good learning aircraft to note b/c while light you can do almost any maneuver you desire and it. Takes some time invested into any aircraft in this game to start reaping the profits unfortunately. If there is a particular plane in the series you're trying to jump into, see if you can contact a trainer to give ya a one on one walk-through with it in the TA with you and also give ya some tips for that craft. They're also usually very eager to take some time and teach you any basics or give an introduction on general flight if you or anyone else needs it.

I see the guys from TWC regularly, great group of guys We're starting to get the hang of the MA. I'm spending less and less time in the DA, but I still think its a great place to work out the kinks or get accustomed to a new A/C. Plus its just lots of fun!!

FA padlock was really cool...it was an arcade pilots dream. AH is the real deal...pilots work for and earn kills in a realistic ww2 sim. My right thumb was raw after one week working the AH views. I recommend TrackIR if you can get serious about staying with AH. With TrackIR I have all my hat switch positions available for other commands (someday I'll figure out what to program there)..and my right thumb has healed up and I can bowl a 200 game again. Peace and Love to LTD squad
