B26 RAF 14 Squadron.
« on: August 04, 2010, 01:55:49 AM »
The other book that arrived was on 14 squadron a unit that focused on maritime duties they also carried torpedo's & had some success.
They seem to have two different schemes in this squadron & based off the 14 squadron site the first 6 had desert camo to begin with then they all were painted in the usual olive drab.

I would say these skins would be for when they upgrade the B26 not much point now unless some one really wants to do one.

Info on the squadron leader.

Die cast not correct I am guessing.

Dominion Revenge in O/D & desert camo.

THIS PROFILE IS NOT FROM THE BOOK I WOULD SAY THE FIRST ONE SEEMS MORE ACCURATE.

Dominion Triumph. You can see bullet hits on this picture. Sure looks as if they were aiming for the pilot.

I HAVE OTHER PROFILES & PICTURES OF THIS SQUADRON IN THIS BOOK IF OTHERS ARE WANTED.

Roger, I'd wait for the skin to be updated if I were you. If you decide not to do it, please let me know.

Had to cut short all that I was going to post last night due to storms here is a few other tid bits. The colour profile is from a book that was published back in the 60's that I found on line. Also a colour picture of a RAF B26.

TY. I have been using photobucket for a while now to post pictures on line. I have had not had any issues with them at all compared to other free photo sharing sites.

It has edit features & I think it is about as good as it gets for a free site. Join up & there is a link some place on there that will run you though the process. :aok
