No worries m8 my pleasure. You and I exchanged greetings last night in one of the live Ah arenas. That was my first time outside the training arena. I think there was supposed to be 60+ players but I only saw 2. How do you get all the pilots on the screen like we did in FA? I didn't know where anyone was or what they were doing.

use the escape key to bring up your clipboard map.

you can zoom it in and out using the insert and delete keys.

Bases that are flashing have an enemy plane or vehicle within the radar circle.  If you look in each sector there are dar bars indicating the ratio of enemy planes in that square grid.

Move bases by double clicking on the icon or type  .move 99   etc

For further training and orientation on the clipboard map and finding friends and foes, you might take a look at the video clips on the 7th of my 8 Aces High training pages here:

G'day Baxter, what times do you play? There should be plenty of Aussies on of an evening who will be more than willing to get you up and running. B6Pacman is from Adelaide and I'm sure would be willing to help as well as on at similar times. Excitable young fellow but he has been playing for a few years now and has a fair idea of whats going on.

the raw prawns are nearly an all aussie squad and the tropical thunder guys  the Mrmen are too.   If you ask them nicely they may let you tune into their vox channel in game and you can follow them about.

Thx guys I got the DarBar thing now and have been watching some video trainer films. I will certainly watch out for the MrMen and the raw prawns. My flying times are a bit erratic due to R/L committments. Mostly I can do evenings on some weekdays and Sunday afternoon/evening. I will be free all evenings next week though except Friday as both sprogs and the missus are/will be away. Adelaide time is GMT +9.5  Thumbs UP!

Baxter, keep an eye out for Hadesss (Elite). He's also in Adelaide I believe, and an ex-FA'er.
