If the reason for the split arena is because a single arena becomes unhealthy when a certain number of players are present, yes.  As it is now, some times a healthy single arena, is split into two unhealthy arenas, based on to few players in each.  The reason provided by HiTech Creations for spliting an arena was based on to large a population , the population had become unhealthy based on number of players.   I say, fine, set the cap in the single arena to the magic number at which the single arena becomes unhealthy , when the total number of players gets to within 10 percent of that number, start the process to split the arena into two healthy populations.   Do it based on numbers, not time of day.  Also, currently if a war is won in an arena HiTech has no problem dumping everyone out of an arena (prime time or not) to reset.

it is hilarious to think people are still debating, complaining, arguing over the  LWO/LWB arena split setup, 3 + years later

Traveler your notion of 2 low population arenas being unhealthy isn't supported by anything. Your notion that there is an exact population number when the arena switches from healthy to unhealthy is nonsense. It should be obvious that booting everyone in the middle of prime time is a bad idea.

I logged into LWO about 15mins after the split. flew 2 sorties, found nothing to shoot at in almost 50mins. ditched and logged. 2 massive maps with ~100 in each. boring.
