B29 superfortress "Pearl"
« on: November 14, 2011, 10:30:06 PM »
This b29 holds a very important place in history.
on july 21, 1948, a b29 crash landed in Lake mead Nevada. Mostly in tact.
It laid on the bottom of that lake for 333 years, Before the post-apocalyptic group "Boomers" found out about it, raising it from the lake to restore it, Which was used in the crucial battle of Hoover Dam, dropping mini nukes down upon the couriers enemies.
I would like this skin to be added to AH.  :D its a b29, it has a combat history, and its cool!

[READ BEFORE OVEREACTING]: yes guys, i know this is a b29 from a video game. which did not serve in WW2. but personally, i think it would be cool if HTC aloud the skin, maybe as a sort of "easter egg". maybe not in Special events or the AvA, but the MA's would be fine. If we can have poems and personal msgs from HTC scribled all over our cocpits, why not have a b29 skin from Fallout:New vegas.

Also, the story of "Pearl" in New Vegas is based off a Real World B29 incident, when in July 21, 1948  a Boeing B-29-100-BW Superfortress, modified into an F-13 reconnaissance platform and performing atmospheric research, crashed into the waters of Lake Mead, Nevada, USA
Being raised.

The complete restored version:

:pray HTC, be such a cool Easter egg.

(if you don't know who that is, it's a well known comedy skit, so don't take offense.. outside of the crack reference I mean.)

I just think it would be a cool easter egg.
im all for realism as much as the next guy, but does everything have to be realistic down to the very last detail?

If we can have poems, messages, and other things in the cocpit, why not have an easter egg B29 skin from New Vegas?  :(

If you don't see the difference between personal touches and individual decorations and an entirely falsified and insane idea for an actual combat skin....

Then I can't help you.

Sorry then, i forgot, this games all about being serious. If its not 100% realistic, it shouldn't be in the game.

Im sorry everyone for forgetting this.
