engine manifold pressure changing with control mode change?

been getting manifold pressure change when i switch control modes in a 109g14.  mode 1 and 3.

I've found that happens when the scaling and mapping is different for every mode. Easiest way is to compare the raw text in the joystick settings file. I'd bet there's a difference in the 2 modes.
