BBS does not load?

I know, How am I typing this if I can't get to the BBS?

It works fine from my work computer and I can get it to work if I load it with safari, I have updated windows Vista but I cannot view the BBS with it.

Any ideas?

Cannot view it with what?  What does it do?

If you are talking about Internet Explorer, I do not doubt it.  However, we did not write the bulletin board software so it pretty much is what it is.  I am not aware of anyone having issues displaying it with any browser, except maybe some phones.

I am using Internet explorer with Vista.

While I am trying to view the BBS it times out and I get that cannot connect screen.

I downloaded safari and I can get here that way,

Thanks for the response.  Just thought maybe there was a fix.

Might be a security setting in IE. if you have the settings too tight it may not allow you to view certain sites.

Skuzzy I'm having a similiar issue.  BBS comes up but only the top portion appears.  I get a time out and an error message Internet Exployer can not open.  I can get forums to open but all the normal page below the top forums etc. does not appear.  I remember something on the boards about the dreaded hack word.  After that is when the issue appeared.

The bulletin board was not impacted by the hackers, at all.

Thank you.  Will try something else to get it to work.  Don't know what but will still try.
