Engine Idle
« on: February 19, 2013, 01:43:52 AM »
It would be wonderful if we actually heard the proper engine rpms of other planes just as you do in the cockpit of your plane.

Now, as someone is taxiing to refuel or throttles down approaching the runway...the engine remains at maximum rpm regardless.

I appreciate the side to side laboring wobble of the LVT as it climbs on the beach...but I would trade that feature and other erudite and peripheral wonders for accurate engine sounds. It is just a bit cheesy and I think it would greatly improve the game environ as does the hi res terrain option. Is it too hard to do, or would it consume vast amounts of data locking up everyone's computers or overheating transmission relay stations in Ft Worth somewhere?  :uhoh
